CEB lowers HK, Macau fares up to 40% to boost traffic
Sep 08, 2010
The Philippines’ number one flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (CEB) aims to boost traffic to Hong Kong, Macau and select domestic destinations in a seat sale from September 7-8, 2010 or until seats last, for travel this November 1 to December 15, 2010.
Passengers can avail of P1,499 ‘Go Lite’ seats from Manila and Clark to Hong Kong, and from Clark to Macau. Meanwhile, P1,999 ‘Go Lite’ seats are available for Cebu-Hong Kong and Manila-Macau flights.
Domestic seats are also up for grabs. Those going from Manila to Bacolod, Iloilo, Cebu, Catarman, and Kalibo can avail of P499 ‘Go Lite’ seats. The airline also offers P599 ‘Go Lite’ seats from Manila to Tacloban, Tagbilaran and Roxas, while it offers P699 ‘Go Lite’ seats from Manila and Cebu to Puerto Princesa.
Leisure routes such as Manila-Dumaguete and Manila and Cebu to Boracay (Caticlan) are available for the ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare of P899.
Passengers with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.
“The past few weeks, we have seen a slight softening in our forward bookings for Hong Kong and mainland China, and we hope to stimulate travel further with this seat sale, which lowers fares by as much as 40%,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
“Hong Kong is one of our more lucrative routes, especially since we offer the most frequencies and routes from Manila, Clark and Cebu. In fact, we are also promoting an additional daily frequency to our Manila-Hong Kong route starting November 24, 2010,” she added.
CEB operates five times daily flights from Manila (starting November 24, 2010), and a daily service from both Cebu and Clark, to Hong Kong.
