Youth booster
Aug 31, 2010
FAIR HOPE of the fatherland the youth still are, in the eyes of Mamac.
Contrary to the emergent general opinion to disband the Sangguniang Kabataan on the ground that the young are corrupted early, Mamac holds that the SK remains a solid training ground for future leaders.
Says the man dubbed as Balibago’s “Mister Clean”: “SK officials only become corrupt if they are allowed to be corrupt or see older officials practicing corrupt ways. SK is still a good training ground for future leaders if barangay chairmen would mirror good governance and become role models for the SK officials.”
Well said, Sir.
